Action Comics (1938) #677

Some time goes by before Supergirl happens across Lex Luthor II of Earth. Needless to say, all those feelings from the previous Lex start to take hold with this Lex. Which is not communicated to Superman till he is watching a live interview of Lex, and Supergirl is introduced as his love. I'll let you fill in the blanks on how Superman reacted to that broadcast.Superman, angry and dismayed, tracks down Supergirl to discuss this newly sparked relationship. The conversation starts even-tempered but quickly escalates. It's obvious that Superman is not a fan of Lex to begin with, so it is no surprise that he would not approve of this courtship. After a slip of his tongue, Superman is blasted through the air by a blast from Supergirl. After multiple strikes from both parties, here comes Lex to the rescue. Verbally shaming them for acting like children and resorting to a physical altercation. But Lex is hiding his true intentions for Supergirl, and she is too smitten to see them. Bringing the

Amazing Spider-Man (2025) #19

Jan 7, 2026

Joe Kelly continues to do an amazing job telling this gripping story of Spider-Man! We get comedic moments from Rocket as well as emotional moments with Raelith. The flow of the dialogue is top notch making this feel like a quick read. Kelly does such a suitable job with context clues that if you are new to this series, you could easily figure out what is going on. However, I recommend collecting the earlier eighteen issues, and of course this one!

Amazing Spider-Man (2025) #20

Jan 21, 2026

This story does an excellent job of capturing the inner emotions of Norman Osborn. Peter Parker didn't ask Norman to take up the role of Spider-Man, he chose to do so. Now he's battling with his own moral dilemma of being a hero after being the villain. This continuation plays a vital part in this arc and shouldn't be missed!

Batman and the Outsiders (1983) #1

Jan 10, 2026

Personally, being a Batman fan, I love this book! Now, to take my bias out of the equation. This is an entertaining read. The amount of emotion and passion within the dialogue when Batman wants to rescue Lucius is typical of Batman. The panels bring you along on a fluid ride through action and adventure, sprinkling in suspense. As an avid collector of classic titles, I encourage you to add this title to your collection. Modern comics are fun and exciting, but there is something about having a comic that is older in your hands. Feeling the texture of the old style of paper and getting entranced in the aura of what was popular in its time.

Malevolent (2026) #1

Jan 28, 2026

I want to start off by saying that this type of story is not something that I read. But after giving this first issue of Malevolent a shot, I must say that it has opened my eyes to trying more comics that I normally steer clear of. This book is the start of something that I hope brings a whirlwind of devastation. The storytelling combined with the artwork bring this to a larger scale. I'm surprised the panels are big enough to hold it in. Image Comics has something special here, and I cannot wait to keep up with this story! Go get your copy of this first issue!

New Teen Titans (1984) #86

Jan 9, 2026

This is the only issue of this arc that I personally own. Causing me to base this review strictly on what was between the covers. And I must say that this is a good story, and I am feeling to urge to hunt down the other issues. This story has a lot of emotion to it. Not so much of a happy tone, but the art compliments the dialogue so precisely to deliver the emotional climate. I plan on searching for the issues before and after this one to complete the story. It is definitely worth a read, especially to Titan fans!

Star Wars: Han Solo - Hunt For The Falcon (2025) #5

Jan 7, 2026

Another Star Wars comic that has come and gone. This is a very good read. It is so well put together that you actually feel as if this is a TV series and not a twenty-three-page comic book. You get pieces of joy, sorrow, accomplishment, and defeat. Outside of the action panels in this issue, Han is taken on an emotional roller coaster, and you really feel somewhat bad for him. True Star Wars fans will understand as soon as they read the first couple of pages. Go get this book! You WILL NOT be sorry about this in your collection. And if you're like me and HAVE to have entire collections, go pick up issues one through four while you're at it.
