Phillips is making Gwen seem surprisingly...coherent with respect to the overall progression of her personality. Shes managed to embrace the characters continuity in a way that makes her feel more or less consistent with all of the adventures that shes had over the course of the past few years. This is a bigger accomplishment when one considers how little overall continuity seems to come into play in the modern superhero comic. Philips is taking Gwen and making her truly feel like a fully integrated person. Its a lot of fun to hang out with her for about a half hour a month every month. Read Full Review
