This issue of ASM continues to build on the plot that Joe Kelly has mapped out for this ongoing series. The plot twists are very well hidden from readers till you turn the page, and it slaps you in the face. The play and introduction to the character are so entertaining to witness. Readers of ASM should find various levels of entertainment in this issue! Make sure you pick this issue up for your collection from your local comic shop! Read Full Review

This was another solid issue with plenty of plot threads bubbling away beneath the surface to keep readers guessing. We also see Peter Parker’s recently introduced cousin visiting Aunt May at F.E.A.S.T. to lend a hand, which feels like the sort of seemingly innocent detail that will almost certainly grow into something bigger later on. Joe Kelly gets the next story arc started with a roaring start. It’s a great jumping on point for new/lapsed readers and introduces readers to the news bad in the Spider-Man story. Together with artwork that is equal parts spectacular and mind blowing, this is an issue you don’t want to miss. Read Full Review

Amazing Spider-Man #29 keeps the momentum going as Joe Kelly sharpens both Peter’s voice and the growing threat of Spore. The issue balances grounded, character-driven moments with energetic action and a steady drip of plot progression. While Spore’s arc still feels like it’s ramping up, the payoff is starting to take shape, and the supporting cast helps keep things lively throughout. It's packed with a classic Spider-Man supporting cast that makes the world feel alive. Read Full Review

All the groundwork has already been laid for the introduction of this new, classically-inspired super-villain, and the first solid issue of his menace is quite entertaining. Read Full Review

Another banger of an issue. I just like how Kelly keeps everything connected. I wasn't a fan of Death Spiral in the end, but it's nice to see it isn't forgotten. Art was amazing and Brian is creepy and a good villain. Just good stuff.

Hopefully this is the start of getting ASM back on the right track. Brian seems like he could be a fun villain as well. It’s not a perfect issue but you’d have to be an absolute loser to give it a 1.0. Especially without an explanation or allowing people to comment and call you out.

This book is still a mess. We get new and already forgettable villain Spore and an issue full of no action and just talking. It plain old Sucks. The art is also not appropriate for a comic. Just another forgettable filler ASM issue.
