A bit surprised to see Mattina doing the main cover here, considering his situation a while back. Perhaps I missed an update, or multiple, about that? In any case, I enjoyed the inside of this book. Kind of weird that we're now three issues into Rosenberg writing the regular Spawn title and this one, and Al has barely been in anything. I don't dislike Hudson at all, I think he's perfectly fine, but I'd like to see the actual titular character more. Though, I understand it based on the story they're doing here. Anyways, yeah, I liked this. I thought Nachlik's interiors were better than #55, but I also felt Rosenberg's story was a bit weaker than #55, so it balances it out and I'm giving this the same score as #55.
