Mudman #4 is probably my least favorite of the issues so far and shows that it can be difficult to do an homage to a particular era of comics without falling into some of its tropes. There are some things in this issue that could be problematic if they continue but I still feel like this is a solid series for those who find today's heroes just a bit too morally relative and violent. Mudman could sink under its own weight, but right now, it's still recommended reading for the right audience. Read Full Review
