Did you ever have the problem where a cute puppy follows you to school? Owen (Mudman) Craig has the exact same problem. Only it's a vicious homicidal robot, not a puppy. Still cute though.
"Mudman" is traditional mainstream superhero comics done with an independent bent, and it's what makes the book interesting and clever, but the stakes still need to be raised considerably in order to bring "Mudman" to a must-read level. Read Full Review
In this era where some arcs bloat over five or six issues without doing much, Paul Grist's work is a breath of fresh air, showing that a comic can do a lot in just 28 pages. What can I say I like the book. It’s simple but a good story of a teenager gaining superpowers. This one superpower is out of the ordinary which makes you wonder where it will go. Read Full Review
Even though this issue had some good things in it I do not think it is worth picking up for the price tag. It was a filler issue and it is too early in the series to have a filler issue. So, I would say skip this issue and maybe wait for the next issue because I do see potential in this series. Read Full Review
