You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

The tension continues to mount as the mystery continues to increase in complexity. There’s a lot going on around the edges of the narrative that could theoretically develop into major details in the central plot. Things begin to become clearer as the series reaches its fourth issue. Wagner and Hillyard have a clever rapport. The serial murder drama in the team’s I Was a Fashion School Serial Killer series may have had more of a stylish narrative flair about it, but Narco is definitely a lot of fun. Read Full Review

    Fanlight Zone - Richard Coryell

Narco #4 brings more desperation to Marcus’ plight well also shining light on who the killer is. This gives the reader a sense of the light at the end of the tunnel. However, there is still plenty of tunnel left which allows for even more shenanigans to occur before we get to the finish. This series has been a treat and has delivered on so many levels. This is another series that I hope you as a reader haven’t been sleeping on. If you need to catch up on the series, consider picking up some of the Hitchcock inspired variant covers as they are awesome looking. Read Full Review

The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally

Wagner continues to craft a great mystery in this issue. I really like the direction this story is going and all the twists and turns it takes with Marcus and the people around him. The reveal of the actual killer is well handled and creates some interesting stakes for Marcus and the people he cares about as the story continues. There is a great buildup of suspense throughout the story and I look forward to seeing where it goes next. Read Full Review

A tense and bloody penultimate chapter that finally pushes the mystery into high gear, even if some of its biggest revelations arrive a little sooner than they should. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Chris Coplan

    Jun 23, 2026

Is this a big swing for 'Narco'? Absolutely; there's chaos and blood to spare as the case properly spikes. But are there also missteps? You betcha, as some of those decisions feel overblown, unappealing, and/or bothersome. Read Full Review
