  Narco #5 gives the reader a fitting and exciting end to this series that had a lot of horror, heart, and entertainment. From the start of the series we knew we would get an epic showdown in the final issue. This issue lives up to that very ending and then some. This crime thriller had a little bit of everything. Some fun, some horror, some mystery, and an awesome friendship arc to boot. If you missed out on this series as it came out, make sure to be on the lookout for when orders open for the Trade Paperback. This series was so good it most definitely belongs in your collection.   As clever as the central narrative is, the overall resolution falls into sort of a murder mystery cliché. This isn’t a huge disappointment, though. Wagner and Company have done a really good job of making Marcus endearing enough to draw an emotional connection to the reader. Jess’ casually beautiful charm in the first is develops connection with the victim that serves as motivation for a satisfying resolution. That emotional connection with the victim is played on with particularly sophisticated brutality in the final big climactic scene of the series. Above all, the emotional component to Narco makes it well worth reading. Read Full Review

  After three mostly great issues (and another that ultimately tried), 'Narco' ends the case of the dead neighbor having been novel enough for crime comics and certainly a big-ish move for Wagner and Hillyard. Read Full Review
