Thinking the unthinkable.
Well it's going to be a while before we see this series again (January), but it looks like its adding Emi Lenox to the series. We'll have to see if the two styles match up, but at least it looks like their taking steps to produce issues faster, which is really the only problem with this series. This issue closes out the first arc and it's great, but damn I wish it came out closer to the fifth issues release. There's a trade planned for November so if you fell off of this series you'll at least be able to check out the story as a whole. Celebrity, secrecy, underhanded acts of self-interest -- and science. Now is an excellent time to jump on board with NOWHERE MEN (or re-join and catch up, if you've dropped), as Issue #6 wraps the first collected volume. Series fans will have to wait a bit for the next installment, slated for a January release, but can pick up the TPB in just over a month. It may have taken its time getting here, but it was worth the wait. Stephenson brought much needed weight to the series through some well written dialogue spats as Bellegarde did what he does best in rendering this wholly unique world. With Bellaire and Fonografiks rounding out the team, this issue really outdid all others before it. This may be the best issue of “Nowhere Men” yet and hopefully it only gets better from here.
