Overall, Paper Girls #14 continues one of the best arc so far in a great series. Cliff Chiang's artwork does not get enough praise in these reviews, the panel progressions are flawless, and it's a perfect complement to the natural, near perfect dialogue that combines to make this series the most fun reads you'll ever have. Paper Girls #14 continues to do what the series does best - the perfect balance of character and world building. The issue uses new characters to help expand Vaughan's mysterious world, but the story's biggest strength is with K.J.'s subtle emotional arc as she puts together the puzzle pieces of her own identity. I'll keep saying it...this series is a masterpiece.
"Paper Girls" continues to be weird and awesome. I liked the second arc a bit more than this one, but this series never fails to be interesting. You just have to be willing to ride the wave of confusion and trust in Vaughan and Chiang to deliver. Which they always do.
