Jesse Lonergan is an immensely talented cartoonist. He's a master at directing your eye around the page. He doesn't pull out quite as many of his own unique tools here as he does in Hedra, but when he does go to them they work with wonderful effect.
One of my favorite tricks he employs is the use of a small, black panel to break up the action, usually with stark, curving line interrupting that both moves the reader through the page and conveys a great sense of movement between panels. I also love his spaceship designs. Everything from the exterior to the cockpit has purpose and the way he rotates perspective on the ship is brilliant because it imparts a tiny hint of zero gravity.
