Multiversity Comics - Michelle White
Dec 13, 2013It's a testament to Fraction and Chaykin's talents that a book spanning such an intricate series of storylines can keep us consistently interested and involved; the sense of forward momentum that this story has built up is impressive. At the same time, the emotional dimension of this story can't be denied. "Satellite Sam" is about as much fun as you can have while feeling like you're seeing something you shouldn't, and one of the more involving, implicating comic-reading experiences to be had. AIPT - Jordan Richards
Dec 11, 2013Satellite Sam #5, along with the rest of the issues, could potentially come together to make a decent first arc. However, with the fact that comic is just trying too hard to do too much, the story rarely feels like it advances, and slow pacing ultimately kill this comic. It's not a badly written story by any means, but it is one that should only be read in the trades, because month to month is just not the right way to read this type of comic at all. Read Full Review

$3.50, 19pgs + polaroids & chapter pg? A+ wrap cover! . . . Its sad for me too say that this arc has been slow and sketchy, and i feel there are deeper messages here but they just ain't showing through. Although the issue does pick it up a bit, its too little/too late. I'd like to give it a higher review but the price VS. page count is the final nail. A good arc in TPB maybe, so that's how ill buy the 2nd half.
