Two women deal with modern themes of sex, relationships, and fetishism in this erotic romantic comedy. So beware all who enter, because, to quote a few hundred thousand readers on DeviantArt: "I'm not into BDSM...but this story...I get it."

Comic Spectrum - Al Sparrow Jan 15, 2015

Of course, you could just pick up the book to drool over the images of Lisa and Ally in various stages of BSDM-play, and I couldn't blame you. Sejic's an incredible artist and I'm looking forward to his run on the Rat Queens title. That said, if that's all you're picking the book up for, you're missing a good 75% of what makes Sunstone a great book. It's an honest look at something many people keep buried, and why they are compelled to do so, and how incredible it can be when you find that one person you're willing to trust enough to share it with. A love story? Not yet, perhaps in Volume Two. Read Full Review

All in all, this is a stunning book with characters that you are bound (see what I did there?!) to fall in love with. Yes, its content may be suited to those with particular interests and acquired tastes but what this has at its very heart is a relationship you can genuinely believe in. And that is something special. If you haven't preordered Sunstone yet and you're up for trying something new, get it ordered now. It's a beautiful book and the extras are fantastic. Ally and Lisa are waiting. Read Full Review

"Sunstone" is completely unexpected and surprising. It's a book I'm glad I gave a chance to. "Sunstone" is heartfelt, honest, sexy and beautiful. It's almost perfect. Don't let the subject matter decide if you read this or not. You'll be pulled into this world immediately and you'll never look back. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Jason Hill Dec 24, 2014

Ally and Lisa needed to trust each other in order for their pleasures to be fully realized. Bind yourself to the story, these characters, and the amazing artwork and eji will take you to the brink of excitement and perhaps further if you'd like. Just don't forget the "safe word". Project-Nerd - Jarrod Dec 23, 2014

Overall,Sunstone is a fun, well-written story of early love accompanied by great art. I think I would have liked it more if it was a subject that I understood better or at least half-way cared about but, again, BDSM is not my thing. Just like kicking puppies isn't my thing either.
