The Dead Lucky is a comicbook for someone with an open mind. It's for someone who is mature and when I say open-minded, I mean someone who is open to queer, veterans, diversity, culture, adventure, and inner battle. This comic is a mental/emotional rollercoaster. The story is like a heroic poem.
This on going comicbook of a queer female Latin-Asian American US Army veteran’s journey. Lots of Mech and explosions. Every issue I find something I can relate to. Issue #6, I laughed and cried as I read. Melissa Flores captured what it’s like to be Bibi. The emotions, the thoughts, the struggles; someone with PTSD and/or a minority can relate to.
