The sci-fi epic of survivalists, militias, and an extremist America marches into its third issue. Hale's past and a deeper secret she is keeping from the militia is revealed as the Palace forces and Herrod's forces begin to make their way into the safety that Hale, Davey, and Peter have convinced themselves of.
The Few #3 is another riveting entry in the series with yet more great art and deep, meaningful story involving the growth of Edan Hales character and exploring relative topics. It does suffer a little from formulaic story beats and not giving characters equal development, but the emotional impact should keep readers engrossed. Read Full Review
Lewis is crafting a story for the long haul here. Only being three issues in and we are starting to break the surface. While more of Hale's background is revealed in this issue. Showing us how she grew up and what led her to this point. It's really hard to put a finger on Hale's intentions throughout the story, as up until this point her motives are shifting. The Few is turning into a fantastic mini-series about someone who has grown up being told one thing and believing one way and then something in their life dramatically changes that. What happens when your views or beliefs are changed, can a tiger truly change its stripes and how do you atone for the sins of your past self? Sean Lewis and Hayden Sherman continue to put together a truly engaging story about possible change and redemption and what happens next. Read Full Review
