The Scorched can literally do no wrong for me lately, from the very first issue to know feels as fresh and vibrant and hopefully the story arc will continue to progress in this manner. THE SCORCHED #26 delivers great Spawn action, cool cameos, and promises of significant developments in the future. The introduction of a compelling villain with clear motivations adds depth to the storyline. However, the issues conclusion, pausing to address the Heaven-Hell War finale, feels like a letdown. It disrupts the flow and leaves the reader wanting more from the immediate storyline.
