Besides an odd part or 2, it's another issue that keeps me invested in this story. With one more issue to go, I'm hoping the quality continues to the end.

I'm mostly enjoying this series, the writing is (usually) solid, the art is not bad. Just one thing from this issue really annoyed me and it was just an example of inexcusable bad writing: when the friend shows up and has the bad guys held at gunpoint, the ranger lady goes "where is everyone else? you came by yourself? one person isn't enough!" and just goes on and on ranting about how he came alone. The whole time I was thinking "STFU lady! Let the criminals take the guy serious, you might have a chance!" but no, she basically told the bad guys to just shoot this fool because just one guy ain't enough. Dumb.
