"CHAPTER EIGHT"
Jon's back is against the wall, but Jake is by his side. The question is, what is The Facility really after - and what is Dawid willing to do to get it for them?
Im not going to bother describing what I read in this issue because Id just ruin it for you. You have to purchase the book to see the brilliantly produced sequential story art, the dialogue that pops between characters, and the edge-of-your-seat thrills and spills for yourself. Overall, Where is Jack Ellis is what comics ought to be. Nathan Edmondson has a bright future in any medium, and Ill be looking forward in the other projects he plans on producing outside of Where is Jack Ellis. I cant say enough great things about Zonjics art style which fits like a glove to Edmondsons script. This is what they call the total package. Do yourself a favor, give this book a chance. I find it hard to believe that anyone’s not reading this series. It’s literally one of the best things to ever come from Image Comics and as much as I want all the answers in this volume, I also kind of want a trilogy. There is still time to jump on to this series; get it digitally, look for back issues, order it offline. Whichever of the three options you pick are fine as long as you catch up and see why this is one of my all-time favorite comic book series. Read Full Review
As with the previous mini series each issue is full of non-stop action and story. Every page full of intense detail, character/story development, and intrigue as you don't know what to expect next. This series is well on it's way to being one of the best mini-series of 2013. Read Full Review
Go read Who Is Jake Ellis? first, because Where Is Jake Ellis? drops you right in the middle of things and doesn't really bring you up to speed. Once you do, though, you'll be glad you did, because it's just a very cool read with a good sense of pacing that never really drops into anything trite. Read Full Review
In short, buy Where is Jake Ellis? Maybe the creators will continue to make great stories with these characters, or maybe we only have 2 more issues to enjoy, but either way you're supporting a really well-done creator-owned comic. Read Full Review
You may not know who or where Jake Ellis is but you read just one issue of this great series and believe me you will want to know more before you're finished. Recommended. Read Full Review
