A splendid issue in a great series. More people should read Witch Doctor. Trust me, you'll like it. Read Full Review
This book should be a must buy for all horror comic fans and those wanting a palette cleansing from the cape and cowl funny books. Great writing, outstanding art, and a dollar cheaper price point than most books make Witch Doctor a consistently good buy. Aside from Eric Powell’s The Goon, no other book has me looking forward to Wednesdays. Read Full Review
At its mid-way point, “Witch Doctor: Mal Practice” #3 continues to be an entertaining breed of medical horror. This is the right moment for anyone who hasn't read the “Witch Doctor” series to jump right in. Read Full Review
Seifert and Ketner make this comic a kidney stone of fun to pass, and the whole thing just has this wonderfully playful tone that makes me want to read everything else they've done. While a bit fluffy, this is a seriously cool comic. Read Full Review
Will even triumph over good? Will Dr. Morrow be able to reunite with his physical body? I cant look. Well, actually I did look long enough to read and admire every beautiful, ridiculous page. This book is just plain fun. Or is that word too vague, too? Read Full Review
Overall this is a particularly strong issue in what has been a fun and eccentric second run so far. “Witch Doctor: Mal Practice” clearly isn't for all tastes, but between the plot twists, the unusual art, and the downright strangeness of the proceedings, it's entertaining reading. And so, if you've ever had a fondness for the weird and wonderful, there's no reason to keep the Doctor away. Read Full Review
"Witch Doctor: Mal Practice" is a good entry point for the series. Knowing more of the back story will let you appreciate the twist in the middle and better understand what's going on, but it's open enough to invite new readers in. It'll get you both coming and going. Even if the subject matter isn't to your normal liking, give Ketner's art a try. It will jump out at you. Read Full Review
Although not the strongest installment in the series, Witch Doctor " Mal Practice #3 is still a comic worth getting excited about. Read Full Review

Characters are a big part of any narrative, though, and the characters of Witch Doctor are still rather thin, even at this stage in their existence. The series of catastrophes that befall Dr. Morrow and his team in this issue suggest a more wide-open adventure in the next issue. But, for now, this issue's value lies in its logistical advances.
