On her quest to take over the world via late-night radio (or at least make a decent living), Minare finds herself enlisted as an MC for an inter-station event called Valentine Radio. Meanwhile, her curry shop coworker, Makie, is secretly taking steps to becoming a scriptwriter. Then, one day, Minare receives a message from a listener on her show's social media account beseeching her help in straightening out her shut-in son. With a little prodding from Mizho, Minare decides to pay the dysfunctional family a visit.
Overall, Volume 7 engages thanks to its story of a familys personal struggles attempting to be resolved by Minare and Mizuho but its the inclusion of the earthquake story near the conclusion which made for a more engaging read, leaving me eager to see how the characters will cope and deal with the situation.
