A somewhat complicated moral narrative thats getting down to its emotional simplicity, Noble #8, the penultimate issue of volume 2, keeps a lot of the questions I have had in play, but gives a payoff Ive been waiting since issue #1 for. Thomas and Robinson have been building Noble up issue by issue, and at last, were getting some of the joy of the characters coming through, without losing the complexity Ive come to admire. "Noble" isn't a bad comic, in that it is carelessly put together. There is clear thought behind it on a thematic and presentation level. That presentation is, however, detrimental to emotional core of the book. Read Full Review
