CHARRED REMAINS #5 is a solid horror entry in the series. It includes gore, blood, violence, and shocking revelations. The issue establishes a sense of urgency, with a hurricane approaching and the protagonists hunted by the cult. This comic to be honest is worth every single penny for the sumptuous art. Add in a lovely script that unfolds just at the right time and your on to a winner. Mix in crisp dialogue and horror or a cult level and you have probably the most underrated comic on the shelf just now. I could pour over this kind of lovely art all day and find new ways to love it more.
