Jeremy Adams's reverent take on the classic pulp hero gives you all the action, adventure, and melodrama you could want, and Tom Derenick's artwork is superb. There are hints of Alan Davis and Neal Adams in Tom Derenick's work, but he doesn't come near the quality of his obvious idols (yet). Anyway, the result is solid enough to make Flash Gordon a fluid and entertaining read.
