I know that in my review for the first issue of Done to Death, I lightly complained about the apparent joke-with-punchline construction of the issue and whether the series would suffer for it. Well, I definitely put my foot in my mouth on that one. I miss the goofiness of the first issue. Though there are definite plotlines and directions that the series is headed now, I have lost a lot of my interest simply because the satire is not that intriguing or hilarious. Yeah, its a good comic, but I think that Done to Death could be so much more if only Foley would take it strong to the hoop: feature more of the genre-busting exploits of Shannon and Andy rather than the apparent deconstruction of literary horror culture. It would fit the tone of Foleys scripting and Staples art much better. Read Full Review
