Black Cat saves Spidey just as Puma is about to slash his throat, & they escape for the moment. Puma returns later to Peter's apartment when MJ is present. Puma decides not to finish off Spidey when he is injured in a fall since it would not be honorable. Puma learns later that the Rose has called off the hit after meeting with the Kingpin. After Peter returns to his apartment, a worried MJ is there waiting for him. She reveals to him that she knows his secret. (Cover date: October, 1984)
