    The artwork is just right even if painted. Often painted comics feel stiff. Janet Van Dyne has never looked better. Even the wacky costumes look decent with very little updates needed. The price of this comic book is a bit steep though. I would encourage readers to only pick up issues they are interested in as opposed to all of those coming out. For example, I skipped the one on Luke Cage because I dont really care about the character. Read Full Review

    I recommend this issue. It is a nice addition to the Avengers Origins. The cover has some great art, like the rest of the "themed series", and even though it wasn't related to the Avengers, it was a great origin One-Shot issue. Read Full Review

    As initial installments of event stories go (if this "Avengers: Origins" can truly be considered an event) this one is a fun kickoff with two characters that just don't get enough love. Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne are inspirational to a generation of heroes, especially Avengers, and really should be celebrated a little more often and more impressively. Read Full Review
