Comic Book Revolution - Kevin
Dec 13, 2012Avenging Spider-Man #15 is yet another example of how much fun comics can be. Cullen Bunn is able to make the team-up of Spider-Man, Moon Boy and Devil Dinosaur feel special. All the dinosaur fighting Devil Dinosaur is involved in does steal the show but Spider-Man is still able to make his presence known with some good comedic timing. If you have yet to give Avenging Spider-Man a try I recommend you start now because this has easily been one of Marvel's gems. Read Full Review

Dec 05, 2012With the next issue of Avenging tying into Amazing Spider-Man #700 and likely taking the series into a darker direction, it's good to have one more fun and wacky storyline starring Peter Parker. Read Full Review

Newsarama - Aaron Duran
Dec 06, 2012Gabriele Dell'otto on pencils have some vibrancy to them, but most of what he draws gets lost in very muddling coloring by Dommo Aymara. It's a real shame, as there is some fun action in this book, but you just can't see it very well. Both Bunn and Dell'otto showcase some good talent in this book, it's just too bad so much of it gets buried in heavy shadows and blurred coloring. Read Full Review

Den Of Geek! - Mike Cecchini
Dec 07, 2012Unfortunately, though, this issue feels pretty thin. It's the conclusion of a two-part story that really only had enough material for one issue. I don't really hold it against 'em, though. Avenging Spider-Man is a consistently fun book, and I can't complain too loudly about a book full of gorgeous Dell'Otto art. But some team-ups really are better in theory, and I wish that Bunn and Dell'Otto had put the effort into something a little more grounded. Better yet, had this been a self-contained, one-and-done, I'd get another shot at such a terrific creative team doing another Spider-Man story. Ah, well. Maybe next time! Read Full Review
