Marco Rudy paints the majority of Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier #6 with Langdon Foss drawing flashbacks. Both creators have their own unique approach to cosmic sci-fi. Fosss work understated while Rudy is eye-catching and explosive. The art in Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier #6 is grand and sweeping. Its one of Marvels consistently beautiful books. All in all, the issue felt a lot like filler. A set-up for the next issue, without really providing much itself. While there's nothing wrong with it directly, it simply didn't deliver the story chunks I expected, and even gorgeous art can't quite make up for the empty calorie feeling of this particular issue. However, with the set-up of the cliffhanger ending and the clever winding together of plot threads, I have high hopes for the next issue. Read Full Review
