People say Walker's crazy but Lemar is pretty fucked up as well, John always seems to keep him in line when Lemar is all too eager to go for the kill. And Jack Monroe sure is a piece of work, never heard someone talk about sex in the term of "creature contact" lol.
At the end of the issue, though, we have a complete U-turn that I don't buy, Walker loses it completely all of a sudden and kills the villain in a fit of rage that wasn't at all indicated up until then. It's not that I don't see John Walker doing that, he's certainly not opposed to killing, it's just that up until then he was very composed, he even kept Lemar in check. Yeah, that's not great writing here. But hey, at least he feels bad about it? It's a pattern in Gruenwald's run, in the last panel of the last page Walker always has a Cap-like moment. more
