317 and 318, the grease issues, are clearly meant to be a little silly, and that does work in their favour. If the comics had a better writer this could have been a great story.

I do love the sense of chaos around Daredevil as all these crooks scramble for a mother-lode of restaurant grease. Chichester is just such a tacky writer, though. A thug getting his clothes torn in a fight with Daredevil, only for an embarrassing tattoo to be revealed and so the thug and his friend run away, feels like an example of how Chichester can't quite deliver on the silly tone in a way that works. Humour is tricky and subjective so all I can really say is that the timing of these jokes just didn't work for me. A lot of this issue is like that more
