Throughout Tree of Knowledge, Black Widow leads the authorities in basically declaring martial law in New York after the ferry blows up, and I've been waiting to see what is to come of this. And the answer is... well, something about the dangers of authorities developing technology in the name of security. There really are some good ideas here but it is amazing how bad the execution of it all is.

This was a truly awful read. The art and storytelling is so clunky and feels very amateurish. This is so far from the Daredevil comics at their peak it hurts a bit. This story arc and this issue has its moments but boy are they few and far between, while it is easy to spot weaknesses in every corner of Chichester's writing here.
