Gregory Wright does a good job portraying the horror only kind of hinted at in the previous chapter of Lifeform. The dialogue is just okay though, especially from the Lifeform itself.

The bonus stories weren't very impressive, either, but it is neat how they were all connected to the Lifeform storyline and do add a bit to it's character - said character being George the man infected into the Lifeform creature.
