Comic Book Resources - Doug Zawisza
Oct 08, 2009Like the other issues of this "Dark Reign: The List" collection, this issue is not a must-have. It offers a deeper look into the brouhaha in the Marvel Universe, but doesn't shatter any worlds. It most likely won't crack the internet in half either. This is a story for comic book <i>fans</i> -- people who like reading comic books for enjoyment. While I may not ever read this story again, I certainly did enjoy it when I read it today. Oct 07, 2009Your enjoyment of Dark Reign: The List - Secret Warriors depends largely on your ability to look past the mismatched art and try your best to enjoy what's essentially a second helping of Secret Warriors this month. Personally, I'm disappointed that the greatness towards the end of this book couldn't be fully realized visually by the chosen art team, and it inhibits my overall feelings towards the effort. Not a bad one! Not bad at all! I guess I would like it more if I knew the context of the Secret Warriors, but it's still fine on its own.
