All in all a good conclusion (I think it's a conclusion) to the Black-villains saga. But as a standalone issue, the high point was definitely the flaming buttocks. Read Full Review
Deadpool #60 was a let down on a series that is slowly going down hill. But will it make me give up on Deadpool? No, I'm still in it for the long run. And with a change in the creative team imminent there's really no point in jumping ship just yet. Besides, it might be interesting to see how Way transitions into the reboot. But, alas, I was very disappointed with this comic. Maybe a well placed sub-plot conclusion will alleviate that soon. Fingers crossed. Read Full Review
This issue is definitely funny in a goofy way, but I didn't find it was one of Way's strongest. Is was entertaining and silly, but it felt like it was rushed through. Like the creative team took the easy way out of the situation in order to move the story forward. The interaction between Black Swan -- while interesting -- wasn't entirely believable. There was definitely something lacking in this issue. It would have been better if the creative team took things a little bit slower. Read Full Review
You might have gotten the impression that I didn't care for this issue. While I have enjoyed Daniel Way's Deadpool stories in the past, lately I've felt he might be coasting. For now, I give Deadpool #60 1 star""It didn't actually hurt me to read it, but it didn't give me any of the things that I look for in a Deadpool book. Read Full Review
Well this was terrible. This issue was CLEARLY rushed due to the whole Marvel Now thing, and what's worse is Deadpool burned himself up, I can't... It doesn't make sense to me that he would even make a mistake and do that considering how much he was happy to look normal. Now he looks the same and has no healing factor, which is just stupid. I could have seen if someone else set him ablaze or threw acid on him but this was just idiotic. Also, the "no one remembers you don't have a healing factor "One More Day" stuff really annoyed me. And the ending... with Deadpool just cursing... this comic seemed like something Dan Way put out because he had to, so he scribbled it on a napkin and said "Print em up!" Horrible comic all around, I can honestly say I enjoyed nothing in this book. Well no, I take that back, the art was good, so I'll give it a point for that... Read Full Review
