| Writer | Ryan North |

Doom has escaped the Titanic and now finds himself in a strange new body, in a strange new world: America, at the start of the Revolutionary War. The world is about to change, and a young nation is about to take on the British Empire: the single most powerful military in the history of the world. But Doom has other plans - and sees an opportunity here to give history a better form. Can one man, acting alone, truly change the course of history? And does the answer change if that one man, acting alone, creates a laser Gatling gun centuries ahead of schedule?

Jul 29, 2026Another fun issue. I knew going in that DoomQuest was going to be a bit absurd, and it’s all that and more. Despite the absurdity of it all, readers are still treated to a really good story and beautiful art. DoomQuest is worth a spot on your pull list for the ways that it is both entertaining and just a little bit educational. Read Full Review

Aug 03, 2026From the hills above Boston, Massachusetts to the halls of Parliament in London, England, DoomQuest #3 takes Victor Von Doom on one of his wildest rides yet. The American Revolution provides the backdrop to one of the most unique and entertaining comics I’ve read this year and I can’t wait to see where Ryan North takes Doom’s story from here. Throw in some fantastic art and you easily have DoomQuest’s best issue yet. Read Full Review
