I've been enjoying the scenes we've gotten so far of Onslaught manipulating Franklin. There's a nice, subtle, sinister edge to all those moments. I like the art in this book too, it's very bright and crisp in its character design. It's really weird how none of these series seem to have any direction to wrapping all these character arcs up. The Fantastic Four are being completely reset in a few issues and we're dealing with a love triangle between Johnny, Lyla the Skrull, and Laura Green. It's odd to me.
No big deal, though. This comic has a lot of fun action to offer once Onslaught emerges and the stakes feel high with him so intent on seizing Franklin. It's intentionally creepy and quite well done. Onslaught's fake-out defeat more+ Like • Comment -
