I’m a huge fan of the motion picture, The Haunted Mansion. This series has absolutely nothing to do with that and, in my review of issue #1, I was kind of bummed about that because I wanted to stick to the roots of the original story. Now that I’ve read through the entire miniseries, I’m actually really glad that the story wasn’t anything like the film. This is a fresh take on an old story that some of us grew up with. The creative team has done an amazing job and, if possible, I would love to see this become an ongoing series. I’m not, by any means, saying that there will be one (I don’t know and haven’t heard anything), but hey, I can dream. For now, read this series if you want to be thoroughly entertained by a scary-but-fun story about a kid who has one Hell of an adventure with some seriously awesome ghosts. Read Full Review
