Sweet moments between Hulk, the Thing, and Johnny Storm punctuate an intense climax that lets Marvel’s heaviest hitters execute an off-the-wall fix to a world that’s quickly falling apart. While nowhere near the most epic part of the series, the ending is satisfying and well-earned after five issues that excelled in delivering insane situations for the Hulk to survive, and impossible odds for him to overcome. Plot
Hulk reaches the Earth's core and falls upon the weight of all the continents, preventing the planet's complete destruction.
Ben Grimm helps Hulk bear this weight, while Doctor Strange, Sue Storm, Scarlet Witch, and Johnny Storm manage to reverse the flow of high-temperature metallic fluids. Together, they repair this cataclysm. Hulk feels supported, and his rage begins to subside, transforming him back into Bruce Banner. There's an analogy that with the help of friends and family, one can bear the weight on their shoulders.
A beautiful ending filled with altruism and a powerful message about tolerance.
