When the Hulk and Abomination have a battle, the city of Entropy suffers! Nadia tries to stop the two giants...but what can a puny human do? Meanwhile Home Base learns a little about Mr. Blue's current whereabouts, and Agent S-3 takes her plan to the next phase!
First off I do have to credit this issue for finally offering up a solid bit of information, as while her original identity is still a mystery, we can now put a face to the mysterious Mr. Blue, and we also know how she was able to access the information she did. As for the big show involving the Hulk's battle with the Abomination, the art manages to deliver a visual showcase that I'm sure will have most fans walking away very impressed. However, Bruce Jones doesn't quite hold up his end, as the battle never really gets off the ground, and I felt it lacked a sense of urgency. I mean yes the Hulk & Abomination trade some fairly impressive blows, and the big finish is a wonderful display of why the Hulk is not someone you would want to tick off. However, the battle shifts back and forth a little too wildly, and I also found myself a bit disappointed that Bruce Jones felt he had have these characters delivering exposition while they exchanged blows. That was epic as hell, but the conclusion of the battle was like... wtf... what is wrong with these abrupt endings? This is bullshit, it ruins the flow of the story and this isn't the first time Bruce Jones does this in this series... The conspiracy crap is pretty unnecessary here too. But the comic was very good in terms of that Hulk vs Abomination fight. Some hell of a punches there were... The explanation for what is happening with Banner now is fine too. It doesn't that believable, but okay, why not, it's at least some explanation.
