  The way the non-Goddess heroes are squabbling at the start it felt like a kid's cartoon. I guess that's what we're doing here and that's okay but it doesn't really blend with the more complex religious themes and imagery of Infinity Crusade. Art and writing feels a lot more awkward and inconsistent compared to last issue, but it isn't all bad by any means. Drax gets a funny moment here getting literally everyone's name wrong with a full sense of confidence the whole time. I didn't find all the comedy that amusing though and this comic definitely suffers from being simply overstuffed with characters.
  
  The Goddess builds this Cosmic Egg and I found her whole speech about it a little off. I guess we're not meant to be sure what t o think of it. I think what is most interesting in this comic is when Ben and Johnny just talk about faith for a scene. That was really interesting and definitely where Infinity Crusade most stands apart from other event comics. I wish this issue leaned into it a little more.
  
  Instead it is more about the free heroes confronting the Goddess. She lets them into her lair and kicks them out. It felt kind of pointless other than establishing her strength, which I think has already been done. Still, Goddess gets a cool and mind-bending ending this issue, and that's definitely something. more
