  I admit, I was something of a snob with this book initially. I figured that it would be full of sight gags and over used jokes, with silly art and no real story, but I was wrong. Luckily, I am man enough to admit when I am wrong! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and actually plan to pick up the trades of the other Pet Avengers appearances, hoping that they are as good as this one. And it is kid friendly? WIN-WIN!   Now that Eliopoulos has reunited the entire cast, there's no doubt in my mind that the remaining issues of this mini-series will be as fun as the first issue was, or for that matter the previous mini-series. It's a good set-up for the remaining parts of the story, and I think this was nothing more than a slight pacing problem.
