It's the universe of the Man-Thing movie, not Earth-616.
What evil lurks in the brackish waters of the swamp? It's the return of one of Marvel's all-time favorite horror characters: Man-Thing! Set in the Bywater Swamp, this self-contained story will enhance your understanding of the muck monster…and you won’t believe what’s lurking in the shadows of the bayou!
The art is fantastic, and pushes this book into territory Hotzs work on The Agency and The Hood continues its development here, very nice organic feel. Read Full Review

The thing is, Man-Thing isnt Swamp Thing. His role isnt to restore or protect the Green; hes a shambling monster that burns the guilty, a kind of scourge, yes, but of human wrongs to each other not just to the ecology. Rodionoff is going to have to address the unique supernatural nature of this swamp creature if he wants the book to do more than just echo its forbears. Read Full Review
Buy it if you a little bit interested in the upcoming movie - if not then only if you have the cash to spare, its worth a read at least. Not a bad horror. It's a bit slow, but not bad. So far it's better, than the movie. The art is mid, but this artist is amazing when it comes to drawing roots.
Swampy sacrilege. No indication that this might not be 616 so no leeway given. Might've gotten a bit higher if marketed as an alt-reality vanity project.
