Epic start to the first global Marvel event. A bit slow, but works as a set-up. For a comic made only to sell some crappy action figures it reads well to this day. But yeah, since it's 1984, it has most of the problems of comics of that era. At least it has something good in it anyway. I bought and read this book maybe 10 years ago and didn't open it ever since. Time to refresh my memory and tell if it's actually good or not really...

Unbelievably whatever, not much fun character dynamics outside of some fun villain moments, and the dialogue is either drab or explains too much, which make everything feel jarring and confusing, but not in the intended way. Doctor Doom is by far the best part of the issue, with Ultron and Galactus also getting fun moments, and The Beyonder's power showing itself in a cool way.
