FEAR IS TAKING ROOT...
...deep beneath the streets of New York City. Lured by the cries of a child, Groot and Hulk are forced to take a detour and venture into the dank subway tunnels. Unfortunately, the underground is teeming with the newly transformed, and though their appetites are large, Giant-Man's is enormous.

Groot escapes through the subway tunnels with an unconscious Bruce Banner on his back, but he wakes him up because he needs Hulk. They both leave the tunnel and are very close to Avengers Tower, but they come across an angry and starving Giant Man, Hulk fights him with all his anger, but it is Groot who manages to deactivate his suit and makes him small.
Hulk transforms into Banner and Groot sneezes on him and nothing happens, that is when they discover that patient zero is Captain America, because he had contact with an infected pen. Groot and Banner activate the Avengers alarm so that they go to the Tower with the hope that Captain America arrives.
