Jan 29, 2026The entire run will be remembered for what could have been, not what was, indicating missed opportunities and unfulfilled potential. Do you know how sometimes we get a “Director’s Cut” of a movie that makes the film that much better? I think that would benefit this run immensely. If we could get a director’s cut of this series that fills all the holes and adds layers to the main story, it would do wonders for Marvel Zombies: Red Band. Read Full Review

Plot This version of Marvel Zombies reimagines the origin and various events of Marvel Comics from the 1960s, in this case, a reimagining of KING IN BLACK. Spider-Man, in his Symbiote suit and with Ultron's help, manages to capture the zombie superheroes, creating a kind of calm even though the pandemic continues. However, the sudden arrival of the Symbiote king, Knull, leaves Peter stunned, as he wasn't prepared for this. The reappearance of Jean Grey/Phoenix changes everything. She easily defeats Knull, and the cosmic power cures her of the zombie virus, making her humanity's hope for survival.
