Carol Danvers must face herself and the terrible things she has done. Special guest X-Men Rogue and Beast appear, Carol finds a new romantic interest, and Ms. Marvel's life begins a frightening new chapter!
Ultimately, fans of the character will probably be disappointed with the lack of real resolution in this arc, so only those who are collecting the title will find it worthwhile to grab. These same fans recognize that Danvers cant become the hero she knows resides within her without coming to terms with her past. This conflict between the two Carol's was more entertaining than it sounds. What really impressed me is how Ms. Marvel doesn't hold back at all sometimes. There's a part where Rogue tries to break up the fight between Ms. Marvel and Warbird and Ms. Marvel gets pissed off and gives her a good kick in the ribs knocking her out of the game immediately. Sickened by her psycho alternate self she fights almost dying a couple times, we learn that Warbird has traveled multiple multiverse and has already killed dozens of Rogues and Carol's who got in her way.
None of the other versions killed Rogue and forgave her like our main Ms. Marvel. But this Ms. Marvel after some struggle finally got the upper hand and got behind Warbird and shot more
