The Weekly Crisis - Kirk Warren Jan 16, 2008

I hated all the random deaths, but I'll have to accept them. Despite that, this is still an excellent read and really sets the stage for the final chapter, bringing all the random subplots (except Jamie for some reason) together for one final, epic battle. Can't wait for the next one. Read Full Review

By the end of the issue, all the pieces and parts have come together, though were back to having Bishop, Cable, and Predator X fighting over a very cute little baby. Its decent enough as a New X-Men issue, if confusing, and the writers do keep the systemic overload of characters in character. But the cover (one of Finchs best, looking like a lost Durer etching full of young mutants) eclipses the art within completely. Read Full Review

I cant wait for tomorrow. Thats all I can say. Ive loved every issue, every page of this crossover. I really hope that the future of the X-Men can live up to the insane quality that the creative teams have brought on with Messiah CompleX. This is my other Pick of the Week. Read Full Review
