After Kingpin realizes that he has lost control of Silvermane due to Dagger, he orders the Rose to set up a phony drug deal to attract Cloak & Dagger. He feels that Silvermane is seeking Dagger since she took his lifeforce. Spidey & Black Cat converge on the well publicized phony drug deal to find Cloak & Dagger. As Silvermane & the Rose's henchmen arrive on the scene, there is a struggle between the different parties over Dagger. The Answer flies in to abduct Dagger, believing that she may be able to cure the Kingpin's ill wife, Vanessa. (Cover date: October, 1984)
