You can't sleep on The Prowler series, I feel like Hobie may have a small fanbase but it's a base that can only grow with this creative team. I'm very invested in seeing where Hobie goes as a character once we step away from this Clone Conspiracy saga and into his own life and adventures. Read Full Review
Pairing Ryan's twists in story telling with the art team of JamalCampbell & Javier Saltares makes this a tie-in worth checking out foranyone invested in the Clone Conspiracy story as a whole. If you are howeverlooking for an independent Prowler tale there may be better options out there available for the money. Read Full Review
The creative team does what they can with what they have, but the events of "Dead No More" leave Prowler #5 feeling redundant. Great artwork and some heroics from the series' protagonist makes the story work better than it might have otherwise. Read Full Review
All that being said, I think this creative team has proven itself enough to keep this title on the pull list. The Prowler comic ends its Clone Conspiracy tie-in by revealing that none of this has mattered and there was no point in buying the comic so far. It's a perfectly adequate single issue, but the bigger picture is insane. Read Full Review
The title goes on despite the notable handicap of the protagonist (sort of) dying. Frigging clone shenanigans. Despite the other notable handicap of dealing at length with the dullest part of the Clone Conspiracy for its first 13 pages, this issue manages to give Clone-Hobie a moving sendoff. The art remains outstanding all the way through.
