  (Cover Date: November, 1987) Summary: Frank meets with Microchip about building a new battlevan & meets his son, Junior. While Frank meets with a weapons dealer, the man is killed by a sniper. Frank kills his assassin & finds a Church of the Saved flyer on the man. Junior hacks into the New York Times library to find info on the church. Frank meets with an ex-cop Martin whose wife left him for the church. Frank goes to the church, asking for soup. Martin shows up with a gun threatening to kill Reverend Smith, & Frank throws him out. Brother Gresham sets up a meeting between Smith & Frank. Junior creates a false identity for Frank. Frank meets with Smith & is affected by his touch. Smith sends Frank with a team to retrieve a tape of a TV documentary about him. After breaking in, Gresham is shot, but Frank shoits the man. Thinking he is dead, Frank turns his back & is shot. The big man Keena carries him out & back to the church for tratment. Smith's touch seemingly saves his life. Frank meets Martin's wife after his recovery. Frank discourages Keena from following him after he leaves the church. Frank recovers the tape from the dead man's apartment. Back at his warehouse base, he watches the tape. He sees Smith execute a man in cold blood, then he hears a man tell Smith that they have the plutonium. Comments: Frank doesn't wear his Punisher uniform in this issue as shown on the cover. more
